In celebration of International Day of Charity, we organized our first Children's Art Contest among the children at "Big Family", a Children's Palace-the oldest and largest orphanage in Mongolia. Our goal is to create opportunities for children from underserved communities to showcase their talents and provide them a platform where they can express their voices through arts. This year's theme was "I have a dream".
It was a one-day event filled with so much fun and excitement. Both contest participants and spectator kids were enthusiastically presenting the entries and walking us through the rows of their artwork.
Artwork touches our hearts in ways that can’t be expressed adequately with words. This joyful moment sparked our interest in doing more for them. Imagine, what it would be like if they could see their artwork in a real published magazine? If you would like to learn more about our art projects that is designed to spark creativity and stimulate girls' interest in STEM, please contact us at info@wemongolia.org.
